How it works

Coverage Is A Promise About Time, Not A Map.

Two offices exist for one reason: the arrival time has to hold at both ends of the territory, not just near the shop.

Plenty of restoration companies list every town in the county. The list is easy; holding an arrival time across it is not. DriForce runs two dispatch points rather than one, because the drive from Troy to the Blue Water Area is the difference between a 60-minute response and a two-hour one.

So the question worth asking any restorer is not do you cover my town but how long until someone is standing in it. Ours is 60 minutes across Metro Detroit, day or night, and the phone is answered by a person who can dispatch rather than take a message.

What we commit to

The Numbers We Put In Writing.

An arrival time you can hold a vendor to is worth more than a map with every town on it.

Every one of these applies in every community listed on this page. They are company commitments, not branch ones — the standard does not soften the further you are from Troy.

Communities

Where We Go.

Every community below has its own page covering what we do there and how quickly we get to it.

St. Clair County and the Blue Water Area are dispatched from our Port Huron office rather than driven out from Troy. County-wide pages cover everywhere in between: Oakland County, Macomb County, Wayne County.

Two locations, the same crews, the same standards and the same arrival commitment at both ends of the territory.

The first hour

What The 60 Minutes Is Actually For.

An arrival commitment is only worth what gets done inside it. Here is what that hour buys, whichever community you are in.

1

On the callDispatch, not an intake interview

The address and what happened is enough to send a crew. Policy numbers, claim details and carrier contacts can follow while trucks are already moving — none of it changes what needs doing in the first hour.

2

En routeThe right equipment, not a second trip

What is said on the call decides what comes off the truck. A burst supply line and a sewage backup are not the same job, and arriving with the wrong kit costs more time than the drive did.

3

On arrivalStop the source, then protect what is dry

Water keeps moving until something stops it. Source control comes first, then containment and floor protection — in an occupied building the protection is the first task, not a courtesy at the end.

4

Before equipment goes downMeasure and document

Affected areas are measured and photographed before drying equipment changes what the site looks like. Reconstructing that afterwards from memory is where scope disputes come from.

5

Same dayYou know what you are dealing with

What is damaged, what is salvageable, and what has to happen next — in writing, on day one, rather than three days in.

Questions

What People Ask About Coverage.

How fast can you be on site?

Inside 60 minutes across Metro Detroit, 24 hours a day. Crews dispatch from our Troy office for Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties and from our Port Huron office for St. Clair County and the Blue Water Area.

Do you charge more for a call at night or at the weekend?

Emergency response is a 24/7 service, not an after-hours add-on. What drives cost is the size of the loss and the scope of work, which is documented before reconstruction begins.

My town is not listed. Do you still come out?

Almost certainly yes — the lists here are the communities we are asked for most often, not a boundary. Call and we will tell you straight away whether we can hold the 60-minute commitment to your address.

Are you licensed to do the repairs as well as the drying?

Yes. DriForce holds Michigan Builder License #2102202262, so mitigation and reconstruction run under one contract with one point of contact, anywhere we serve.

Do you work on commercial buildings as well as homes?

Both, everywhere we serve. See commercial restoration for how work is staged inside an operating building, and residential restoration for homes.

Who answers the phone at 3am?

A person who can dispatch a crew, not an answering service taking a message. That is the difference between a 60-minute arrival and a morning callback.
